Bryant Blakley serves as the Lead Pastor of New Horizon Community Church in Lancaster, SC. He grew up in Lancaster but moved to Alaska, where he met his wife and served with NAMB. They moved back to Lancaster in 2016. He has four children: Brynlee 10, Carter 7, Sadie 4, and Colter (born in Dec). With a love for learning, he graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Christian Ministries and then went on to get a master’s degree in Christian Ministry and a doctorate degree in Pastoral Leadership. 

With more than fifteen years of ministry experience, he has served in church planting, discipleship, and pastoral leadership. Bryant is passionate about preaching God’s Word with clarity and conviction, shepherding people through every season of life, and equipping believers to grow into mature followers of Christ who make disciples. His ministry is rooted in the Great Commission and a desire to help people know God and make Him known.

In addition to pastoring, Bryant serves as the associational ministry strategist for the Chester Baptist Association. He is deeply committed to strengthening churches and encouraging pastors. He works to cultivate unity among congregations, develop leaders, and help churches move from maintenance to mission through practical discipleship and gospel engagement. 

Above all, his desire is to see lives transformed by the gospel and churches mobilized for the glory of God.
